Hyperliquid Liquidations

The largest liquidations on Hyperliquid, read from the liquidated accounts themselves: who was liquidated, on which market and for how much — over 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days or since recording began.

Liquidation data is temporarily unavailable. Try again in a minute.

How liquidations work on Hyperliquid

A position is liquidated when its account value falls below the maintenance margin. Hyperliquid closes it with a market order on the order book; large positions are closed in slices of 20%, thirty seconds apart, so the book has time to refill.

A long is liquidated when the price falls, a short when it rises. A wave of short liquidations pushes the price further up — a short squeeze — and a wave of long liquidations pushes it down. The chart shows which side broke.

How we detect them

Hyperliquid publishes no global liquidation feed. Our collector reads every trade on every perpetual market, adds up each taker's fills within the same block, and checks the account behind every large market order: a liquidation carries an explicit marker in the liquidated account's own fills.

The counterparty of a liquidation carries the same marker, so only the liquidated account is counted. History starts the day recording began: Hyperliquid's public data does not allow rebuilding past liquidations for every account.
